Goodbye SJMP

My wonderful high school has been bought by a religious university and will be closed in the year of 2010. Tyndale unversity college has bought the 54 acres of property with $40 million. SJMP used to be a private all-girls school (yes guys, all girls :P) in the 1960s. Afterwards, it became a school in the Toronto Catholic school board.

My impression of the school is very academic. People were into school and were quite competitive. If I recalled correctly, there were always 10 people in the class who got over 90s and always did well in classes. There weren't that many who couldn't pass a grade and very few people smoked. Most people chose to go into Life Science, Business (Accounting) and a small percentage went into Engineering. Of course, there were the ones who got pregnant in Grade 11, became a tom boy for awhile and all those interesting things.

Haha, this is the second place I have been to that is becoming the end of an era.
